Welcome to Bone Dry!

My name is David, and I'm the co-founder of Bone Dry. The initial idea sprouted while on a surf trip with a group of friends who flew from Hawaii to Northern California to embark on a road trip down the PNW coast in an RV and stop and surf as many breaks that we could fit along the way. During the trip, I noticed that most of my friends had towel ponchos, which they used to change in and out of their wetsuits. As someone who had never used one before, I borrowed theirs and instantly fell in love with the convenience and practicality of having a towel poncho.

 

However, when I tried to buy one for myself, I found that the options were limited, overpriced, and didn't have the features I wanted. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own towel poncho. I sat on the idea for a year before meeting my now-girlfriend, business partner, and co-founder, Chau, who helped bring the idea and business to life in July of 2022.

 

Together, we've worked hard to create a brand that offers high-quality, affordable, and functional towel ponchos for surfers, divers, swimmers, and anyone who wants to stay warm and dry while changing, and feel nice and cozy after getting out of the water. At Bone Dry, we believe in making products that we would use ourselves, which is why we put so much care and attention to detail into every towel poncho we make. Our ponchos are made from premium materials, designed to last, and packed with features that make changing easy and hassle-free. Our towel ponchos offer a kangaroo pouch with a zipper to store your personal belongings while out on the water or at the beach, as well as the traditional hoodie pocket.
